Mechanism of Photography and Maintenance
Mechanical productivity enhances the art of creativity. The usage of a photography equipment in the long run without a periodical check up on the accuracy or condition of the equipment leads to diminishing productivity. That is, the photography equipment depreciates and becomes a liability to the photographer.
In the realm of business today, every aspect especially photography is customer-focused.
A recent photo shoot with a model friend Deji Kalakuta, had us reviewing the term ‘professionalism’ and ‘productivity’. During the shoot we noticed our tripod was a little faulty. Whereas in the case of a formal shoot, where a client is involved, the defect of a photography equipment in a photographer’s line of duty draws the attention of the customer to the problem of the day- A disaster! Which can mar our reputation.
Photographers are known to control and capture the interest of their clients with their camera. It is important to have a head start by checking up on your equipment before an important shoot. Maybe by cleaning, servicing as required, it shows responsibility and ensures you deliver professionally.
In essence, Clients negotiates creativity and Photographers need a working equipment…For a beautiful productivity.
